Dare to Care
Students' mental health has been especially impacted during the pandemic. The statistics show that due to high levels of isolation and uncertainty students now more than ever are experiencing increased stress and anxiety. Our group wants to make mental health resources more accessible for UW-Madison students to generate a more positive and inclusive environment on campus.
Our team is passionate about promoting mental health resources on campus and improving the mental health and wellbeing of students at UW-Madison. Therefore, we are looking to make meaningful changes that could increase over the long-term to give UW students better and easier access to mental health assistance.
Our goal is to instill a stronger sense of community and a support network among students, as well as share tools and skills with them to help themselves and others through mental health crises in the future.
We would like to thank a few people who have been essential in the development of this website. Jesse Cook, Alberta Gloria, Loren Kuzuhara, and Gaby Svec have helped our team over the past few months to truly address the mental health needs of the UW-Madison community and we are so grateful for all of the support they have provided us while working on this project.
We hope that you find this website useful for your various mental health needs!
